Hey there,
I’ll take the shovel and go first. First dig. I’m Alex. I’m a parent, a partner, and a (mostly) former “hot
mess.” Once the drama queen of my own soap opera, I’m now the star of a much more balanced &
beautiful sitcom – one with an all-natural laugh-track.

My training as a Behavior Analyst is informed (like, a lot) by my own life experience. Let’s call it “a
talent for turning chaos into clarity!” “Enriched” by lifelong challenges with ADHD, I’ve got a terrific
tolerance for pandemonium, yet know only too well how difficult it can be to juggle the demands of
adult life. Whether navigating the backroads of (co-)parenting, creating a vibrant blended-family, or
rescuing forgotten dreams, I too have struggled at “adulting” – trying to find one’s way in a grown-up
world that does little to encourage the curious child that we’re all still at heart.

Want help wrangling a To-Do List without losing your mind? I’ve got a spreadsheet for that. Need
assistance in navigating the treacherous waters of bedtime battles & broccoli standoffs? I got you
there, too. I come armed with ninja-level negotiation skills, “triple-child tactics,” and a perfectly-
acceptable-yet-still-hidden stash of chocolate bribes – for the kids, and for you.

And if sarcasm & swear-words are your love language? We might just be soulmates. I’m fluent in both
and not afraid to sprinkle a little sass into our therapy. So what’s therapy like? And what’s therapy like
with me? It’s kind-of like having your very own hype squad, cheering you on, even when you do the
craziest things. Because there are clues to you in that craziness – and a lot of wisdom in following to
see where they lead.

Whether you’re sharing your deepest fears or weirdest dreams, I’ll listen with a kind heart & open
mind, asking the sort of questions that will help you to help yourself. I’ll sprinkle some sessions with
high-fives, encouragement, and the occasional dad joke (usually about my own dad). And those other
times – the harder times? When it’s pouring-down problems, and it won’t let-up? Well, I can’t stop
the rain – but I can sit with you in it, and offer a listening ear. Because we can often weather strong
storms if we don’t have to do it alone.

No matter what’s on the docket, the game plan’s the same – to help you feel seen, understood,
supported, heard. And a little less-awkward, a little less-tired, and a lot more curious about your self
& your life.

Ready to dig a little deeper? Your turn! Here’s the shovel. Let’s get to work & see what we find.
