Local resources for Greater Caledon

  1. Need a family physician?  Try the Ontario government Find a Doctor site, or Rocket Doctor, an OHIP covered service. 
  2. We are a member of Caledon/Dufferin Victim Services – 905-951-3838. CDVS is a Victim Crisis Assistance Ontario program (VCAO) that offers 24/7 in person or telephone support and crisis intervention to individuals affected by crime and tragic circumstances. Across the province, the VCAO program is delivered by community non-profit agencies. Staff and volunteers provide free, confidential and non-judgmental support.​
  3. The Exchange, part of Caledon Community Services: nutritious food and community programs designed to enrich our lives. The Exchange welcomes everyone living in Caledon to share ideas, participate in activities and get to know our neighbours. We offer free therapy to families registered through the Exchange. 
  4. Interim Place 905-676-8515 or 905-403-0864 offers a 24-hour crisis line, online chat, and in-person counselling and support, referrals, information about sexual abuse and assault. 
  5. VIGOR – comprehensive guides for women in abusive relationships, who need support.  Download planning tools and protective strategies for free. 
  6. Family Transition Place – locations in Orangeville & Bolton, supporting all family members, shelter services, and 24 hour support line: 1-800-265-9178.
  7. Victim Services of Peel905-568-1068 offers 24-hour immediate crisis intervention to persons victimized by crime or tragic circumstances in the Peel community.​​
