Bio

Virtual Therapy Across Ontario

Recognizing that no two people experience life in the exact same way, Ildemaro avoids a one-size-fits-all approach. He tailors therapy to what feels right for each individual, blending a warm, collaborative environment with practical, evidence-based tools clients can use in everyday life.

Many of our habits, communication styles, and expectations are shaped by the cultural, family, and social environments we grew up in. For neurodivergent individuals and those living with ADHD, navigating systems built for neurotypical standards can add extra layers of overwhelm and self-doubt. In sessions with Ildemaro, clients look at these patterns thoughtfully. The work begins with managing symptoms and moves towards helping clients build supportive executive functioning strategies, align with their core values, rebuild self-trust, and make choices that fit who they are.

He prioritizes providing a non-judgmental space where clients can be themselves and navigate their thoughts at a pace that feels grounded and manageable.

Ildemaro works with adults, young adults, and post-secondary students throughout Ontario, including neurodivergent individuals and adults with ADHD (both diagnosed and self-identified). Coming from a dual Latin and South Asian background, he understands how identity, family dynamics, cultural expectations, and neurodiversity influence mental health.

He frequently supports men, international students, and 1st and 2nd generation immigrants managing these experiences, while maintaining an inclusive practice where women and clients of all backgrounds feel respected and supported.

Outside of his clinical work, Ildemaro is a former athlete who values the connection between physical and mental well-being. He enjoys spending time in nature, hiking, and working out.

Ildemaro has training and experience in providing Person-Centred Therapy, Culturally Sensitive Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Trauma-Focused Care & Written Exposure Therapy (WET).
