Virtual Therapy across Ontario
Sarah’s therapeutic approach focuses on relationship building, with the firm belief that everyone has the answers to their most joyous and embodied life. She believes that healthy connections start with developing a grounded sense of self; however, this can often get buried beneath layers of external influences, stress, and trauma. To help uncover each person’s truth, Sarah integrates various therapeutic techniques and modalities. In her sessions, she guides adults, teenagers, and children 10+ toward a place of validation, comfort, and safety to support their journey within.
Taking a close look at our relationship with ourselves often leads to clarity around how and why we relate to the world and others. Sarah’s experience has taught her that this is the most powerful way of facilitating emotional well-being. Drawing on her background in trauma processing and recovery, stress related to depression, anxiety, life transitions, and recovery from addiction, she helps clients liberate themselves from harmful behaviours and habits and get to the heart of their disconnection from the world. Sarah provides a brave space to expand past your comfort zone and challenge your limiting beliefs.
Backed by a diverse history in supporting youth with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), learning disabilities, and other mental health needs, Sarah is particularly interested in fostering thriving parent-child relationships. She is also a passionate advocate for individuals affected by addiction, intimate partner violence, family-related trauma, and family transitions.
Above all, Sarah wishes for everyone to live the life they deserve, even if they are not sure of what that is yet. She is an advocate of slowing down, encouraging clients to replace some of their constant “doing” with “being,” as this makes space for our most authentic selves to come through. Her guidance offers you practical tools to embrace yourself and gain newfound clarity around your place in the world.
Because living bravely starts by reconnecting within.
