Tracy is a compassionate and caring therapist who provides a safe and supportive atmosphere, fostering a strong healing relationship, to help clients achieve their goals.  Her empathetic and straightforward approach helps clients gain self-awareness by exploring their inner self and past experiences, to help make sense of present day challenges.  Tracy works collaboratively with her clients, allowing your own unique healing journey to take place, with her therapeutic lens as a safe guide in the process.

Prior to pursuing her Masters, Tracy’s experience and passion for helping others came from working with at-risk and in custody youth in a wilderness therapy capacity, as well as working with adult offenders in a community setting.  In efforts to expand her experience and world-view, Tracy worked alongside police assisting victims of crime and/or tragic circumstances. Tracy’s work with individuals involved in human trafficking increased her commitment and drive for helping others who are struggling to create a better life for themselves.  Tracy’s clinical experience is with clients of all ages struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, anger, separation, family relationship, domestic violence, post-traumatic stress, self-esteem, and historical abuse.

Tracy uses an integrative framework of trauma-informed cognitive behavioural therapy (i-CBT), and psychodynamic therapy to help explore and resolve past experiences and relational needs that may have contributed to current life struggles.  Additionally, Tracy has experience in emotion-focused therapy (EFT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and incorporates mindfulness-based practices.  Tracy’s approach assists clients to take responsibility for their own actions, to move towards the change they are seeking.
