Bio

Julia believes that all people are resilient and capable, but we often need (and deserve) support and encouragement to help us realize our strengths. She works with clients from a strengths-based approach to help them recognize and leverage their best attributes and skills.

She provides a safe and healing space to help clients make sense of life’s difficulties and find personally meaningful ways to move forward, so they can live according to their unique values. This is accomplished by first forming a safe therapeutic connection built on compassion, trust, and understanding. Julia believes that we heal and grow in connection with others. As such, she is committed to helping individuals build meaningful and healthy relationships in their life.

Julia collaborates with clients using an integrative approach to find what works best for each individual. She incorporates humanistic, experiential, cognitive and behavioural therapies to tailor your work together. Julia has experience working with people with various emotional, psychological, and relational concerns such as anxiety and mood disorders, interpersonal difficulties, life transitions, ADHD, trauma, and grief.

She works with adolescents aged 10 and over, adults and families
