Navigating Life’s Currents: From Reaction to Response in Relationships and Beyond (5 Sessions)

There can be so much pressure to make decisions, and sometimes we react versus respond. What if we created space between reaction and response? Let’s talk about contemplation as a part of our lives versus skipping over it!

By learning skills to respond responsibly and authentically, we can break free from what is keeping us stuck.

Workshop learning goals:

  1. Enhance Self-Regulation and Emotional Awareness: Participants will learn techniques for self-regulation, including understanding the polyvagal theory, to find safety in the body and manage emotions effectively.
  2. Reconnect with Personal Values and Establish Healthy Boundaries: Participants will explore their core values, assess the costs and gains of their actions, and learn to set and maintain healthy boundaries to improve personal and interpersonal well-being.
  3. Develop Communication and Therapeutic Skills: Participants will be introduced to key concepts of Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and practice skills to heal communication, make informed choices at critical moments, and foster self-compassion and vulnerability.

Join facilitators Connie Marasco and Sabrina Belo for 5 sessions in June, dedicated to exploring what is possible.
