What happens in a consult call session?
Consultation calls are free brief introductory meetings, held by phone or video, where you have the chance to meet the therapist and explore:
- Your needs that bring you to therapy at this time,
- Some guidance on what therapeutic interventions will help you, based on both clinical and research evidence, and
- The option to book, meet other team members, or take time to decide.
Insurance and Payment Options
Most insurance plans cover therapy services. Most of our clinicians are registered psychotherapists, social workers or occupational therapists, which means their services are often covered under extended health benefits.
- We encourage you to check with your insurance provider to confirm eligibility or annual caps.
- Direct billing is available for some insurance plans. Please check with your plan to see if they include this option for your mental health plan.
